LiquidX Welcomes Two Key New Hires

LiquidX is excited to welcome two new Managing Director’s to its team, Kristen Michaud and James Yu.  Kristen joins LiquidX on the LiquidX’s digitization technology team to lead efforts with Corporates and James joins the originations team where he will lead the coverage for financial sponsors and sponsor-backed companies.

Kristen Michaud is a Managing Director and is responsible for leading LiquidX’s digitization technology for Corporates.  She has over 20 years of experience in Treasury and Financial Systems, most recently at General Electric where she was responsible for Global Cash Operations including Cash Infrastructure, Controls and Digital.  Kristen has delivered large scale transformation efforts for GE including establishing a digital strategy, delivering a target state contemporary infrastructure and establishing treasury capabilities in the shared service centers.  Prior to GE, Kristen worked at International Business Machines (IBM) where she held leadership roles in Global Financial Systems, Treasury and Strategy Consulting.  Kristen has her Bachelors from the University of Colorado and her MBA in Finance from Fairfield University.

James is responsible for leading LiquidX’s private equity coverage efforts. James has more than 20 years of experience within Financial Services and has spent the past 14 years working within Financial Sponsors / Leveraged Finance at Mizuho and originally with JPMorgan in New York. While at Mizuho, James helped build the firm’s financial sponsors platform in the Americas, working extensively with middle market and large-cap private equity clients across a wide variety of transactions. James received an M.B.A. from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business and is a CFA charterholder.
